Our baits manufactured at Hi-Fin Tackle are now made of a revolutionary new material called POLY-WOOD. This in simple terms, is a rigid closed-cell polyurethane with a hard wood center. This closed cell polyurethane will never absorb water. It also will never waterlog which is a problem with completely wood baits. By using a very dense closed-cell polyurethane around a wooden core, we have developed a fine quality bait that will last you a lifetime. No paint peeling or blistering.
