Hi-Fin Tackle Company evolved out of Lloyd's carpentry skills and love of working with wood. It started 20 years ago as a hobby in conjunction with musky fishing. Some of the old time lures such as the flaptail and creeper were no longer available, thus the first lures, the Creeper and the Splashtail were produced.

Wanting a complete line of lures, Hi-Fin Tackle expanded to include crankbaits, jerk baits, twitch baits, and bucktails. To produce a more durable, better quality lure, Hi-Fin changed over to a solid, leakproof polyurethane material, which also allowed the use of rattles and weights. After 20 years in business, who knows what the 21st century will bring to the world of fishing. One thing we know for sure is that Hi-Fin Tackle will be leading the way!
